Farmington Sound Composition

For our sound project we used sounds throughout the Farmington community. As a group, we chose to record a variety of sounds some of which include conversations, household items, as well as basic parts of our daily routine. This project incorporates a part of each member of the group whether it is through a conversation or their contribution to the development of the composition. Some of the sounds are faint compared to others, this is either a result from the way we recorded them, or an intention we made. Many sounds are overlapping as well as repeated throughout the work, thus creating a new meaning within itself of the piece.
